Turn-key Project for Garden & Koala, Adana, Turkey

Dutch turn-key greenhouse specialist Verbakel-Bomkas is building a state of the art turn-key greenhouse for Garden & Koala in Adana, Turkey. The project is designed to produce Orchids and Saint-Paulia.

With it's broad expertise in complete greenhouse projects Vebakel-Bomkas is the general contractor for this project. Our office in Antalya managed by Burak Ergin is coordinating the project for Garden & Koala.

The greenhouse is a Venlo 9,60m. span and measures 6,30 meters to the gutter. The aluminium roof system is executed with a continuous roof-ventilation system. An innovation for Turkey is the installation of an outdoor overhead moving screen installation which is installed above the greenhouse roof vents. This system serves for additional cooling of the greenhouse.

Also the complete climate system, consisting of a pad-fan cooling system and the hot-water heating installation is designed and supplied by Verbakel-Bomkas. Besides the greenhouse and climate installation, Verbakel-Bomkas also provides the inside- and outside screen systems, the complete water-technical installations, the control systems and the internal transport systems. The project is scheduled to be substantially completed by December 2010.
